Not all cards are created equal.

1. The card weight.

A lighter card weight has a lower perceived quality. A weight of less than 300gsm is considered inferior quality. Always check a sample card to see how it feels before you order.

2. Offset printing versus digital printing.

The digital printing revolution has radically changed the printing business, however, both have their place and we offer a choice for the discerning buyer. Digital prints are quick, typically 2-3 days turnaround, on a card of around 310gsm. Offset printing can take longer, up to a few weeks, but the quality is better, the pricing is very attractive and the coated or laminated options are much cheaper then digital. If you are wanting silver or gold ink on en embossed (textured) card then offset is the only option.

3. Finishing.

The final look and feel of the card may be enhanced by a laminated or coated finish, and the choice of round or square corners.
